We headed into Desolation Wilderness via the Bayview Trail. Our plan was to summit Dick’s Peak at 9974 ft elevation, but due to the snow circumstances we were forced to take it slow and turn back before reaching the summit. Through the snow, sweat and tears, we had one of our greatest experiences.
