Interail locomotive 42206 is seen before dawn in the Dynon Freight yards preparing to attach to a QR National (QRN) freight train which has just arrived from Adelaide. Once attached the locomotive will shunt the train so the shipping containers can be unloaded.

Interail is part of QR National railways.

The 422 Class were delivered to their original owners, the New South Wales Government Railways during 1969 & 1970 and. The locomotive has an EMD 16-645E engine and features a drivers cab on both ends of the locomotive, a feature that became common on NSW locomotives for the next 30 years. .
